Whether you are already part of our community or thinking about becoming one, I hope that our website will give you a flavour of our happy and hardworking school.

At Katherine Semar Infant School we take pride in our school and its community, especially the warm, safe and friendly atmosphere we share.  We want our children to be happy, motivated, interested, enthusiastic and successful learners now and throughout their lives.  We seek to encourage them to welcome change and to be ready to adapt to it confidently.

Our curriculum is planned to provide a rich variety of first hand experiences for children to try new possibilities alongside learning the early skills which will support all future learning.  I have been Head Teacher of this school for several years and continue to be proud of this school, which continues to place children at the heart of all we do.

Class HG Assembly 5.2.2010

Class HG performed their assembly for their parents and the rest of the school.  They were proud to share their work about animals this term.  They shared their animal stories, poems, songs and animal art work.  They described what animals need to stay alive and healthy.  Miss Gilmour congratulated them on all their hard work and their performance.
