At Katherine Semar Infant School we take pride in our school and its community, especially the warm, safe and friendly atmosphere we share.  We want our children to be happy, motivated, interested, enthusiastic and successful learners now and throughout their lives.  We seek to encourage them to welcome change and to be ready to adapt to it confidently.

Reading Morning

Our curriculum is planned to provide a rich variety of first hand experiences for children to try new possibilities alongside learning the early skills which will support all future learning.  I have been Head Teacher of this school for several years and continue to be proud of this school, which continues to place children at the heart of all we do.

Diary and Events
Our school always has a wide variety of events going on. We currently run five after school clubs and each year we hold a number of fancy dress parades, charitable events, class assemblies, visitors to the school and school trips. For more information on any planned event please contact the school office.

Class SP Assembly 26.2.10

First we went into the hall then we told the school about our favourite animals.  Next Isla and Finn read the “Who Am I” poems.  Then Keira read the “Animal Babies” poem.  Next Ben, Molly and Usrat read “Handa’s Surprise”.  Next we sang “Who Built the Ark”.  George Cass said the prayer.  Joshua said thank you for coming to our showing assembly.  Then we sang the song again.
